I have completed 100 + hours of individual life coaching and mentoring, facilitating growth and goal achievement for clients in areas as diverse as academic excellence, career advancement, personal relationships, self-improvement, spiritual development, health and fitness etc. I have conducted professional development sessions for teachers remotely and in-person.

As Director of Ameenah Advisory, I offer business coaching and mentoring for female Muslim entrepreneurs and existing businesses and organizations run by Muslim women seeking to expand, improve or problem-solve. Additionally, I conduct Shari'ah reviews and audits of commercial, charitable and other ventures, and accordingly offer advice to ensure complete compliance with Islamic law. I also offer zakat advice and calculation services to businesses and other asset-holding establishments, and trainings on various aspects of Islamic commercial law, including sensitization trainings for non-Muslim businesses with Muslim staff and customers.

Established, and have served as Principal of, an online institute of Islamic education and holistic well-being for women for over ten years. Starting from one teacher and six students, have been responsible for leading the institute to now having hundreds of students from dozens of countries and a staff of over forty faculty members and administrators. As Founder, Principal and Mentor my work has included:- Visioning and strategic planning, including development of new courses- Development and constant refinement of the institute’s curricula and teaching methodologies- Hiring and training of teachers and administrative staff- Delegation of responsibilities to staff members and overseeing their work - Systematizing processes for every aspect of the institute’s work such as admissions, sharing of resources, day to day communication, testing, etc.- Being directly available for all students, teachers and staff members for guidance and counsellingAs teacher, my work has included:- Teaching a variety of subjects including Arabic Grammar, Islamic law and legal theory, and Hadith to beginners and advanced students - Writing a book entitled “Lessons in Qur’anic Arabic” in English and Urdu for effectively teaching the basics of Arabic Grammar to beginners with the goal of enabling them to understand the Arabic Qur’an - Conducting weekly sessions with students to teach them how to incorporate spirituality into their daily lives, and attain emotional and mental wellness.

Independently taught a mandatory, introductory level course in Political Science

Planned and organized events on campus to promote students’ exposure to and understanding of different cultures and faiths. Taught an introductory class to incoming students on time management, achieving academic excellence, and other guidance for success.
