I wore multiple "hats" when working for HFM (Harrisonville Family Medicine) in Harrisonville, Missouri. During the week I worked in the office, doing jobs such as answering phones, making appointments, scanning medical documents, assisting with billing, and normal "office" jobs. I also had the wonderful opportunity to use my computer skills to recreate and/or make a lot of the, now current, office documents. On Saturday, I was lucky enough to be able to switch positions, and work as a nurse in the clinic.

Although my time with State Farm Insurance was short lived, it was a wonderful position and I learned a lot through it! I joined State Farm Insurance in Mountain Grove, Missouri, shortly after graduating High School. At State Farm, I was in charge of answering phones, helping clients decide what types of insurance they needed, and also set up appointments for our agent. I left State Farm to be closer to my family, but will look forward to possibly joining the insurance industry again some day.

I was given one of the best opportunities of my life when offered the position at Dr. Collins' dental office! I worked at Dr. Collins' office during my senior year in high school. During this time, I was in charge of scheduling appointments, answering phones, assisting with billing, medical records, and other office duties. My job evolved later in my employment to assisting Dr. Collins' as a nurse. Dr. Collins and his wife, Christy, were very flexible with my early morning/late night working hours (around school and sports) and likewise I felt like I was a good employee for their small business.
