During each term (fall term and spring term), the teaching artist meets with each grade level to teach them the fundamentals of musical theater (voice, dance and acting) all while working toward a production that they perform for the public at the end of the term.

- Theatre Arts instructor serving students, teachers and community center staff in the Louisville and Southern Indiana Area - Develops educational materials - including lesson plans for in school programs as well as teacher study guide and program guide content related to current StageOne mainstage productions - Serves as a Teaching Artist with the Disney Musicals in Schools Program - A program designed to build sustainable theater programs in under-resourced public elementary schools - Plans and Develops StageOne Storytellers Season- including preparing performance schedule, creating props and costume lists per performance, coordinating rehearsal schedules with actors and performing as an actor in the Storytellers season - Maintains familiarity with Kentucky Education Reform, state and local curriculum assessments and current trends in theatre education - Assists the Education Director in promoting and publicizing education programs to the public- Serves as a resource to the arts and education community of Kentucky, as needed (ex. My Big Little Adventure)
