Myra is a talented facilitator and researcher, committed to listening to and empowering individuals and communities through playful co-creation. She has a lifelong fascination with the connections between people, the places they inhabit, and the impact design can have on that relationship. At the Glass-House she innovated creative community facilitation and practical data gathering techniques through action research. She co-developed and facilitated CPD training for architects on engagement and enabling communities. She has published a number of resources for communities and professionals on best practice for community engagement and action research. Her role at Blue Chula uses participatory design as a route to community development and engagement, with a focus on social housing.Consistently multi-disciplinary, she has also worked as a designer and facilitator across theatre, events and fashion.
