For the past three years have been working in the run speciality/fitness industry helping community members and athletes achieve their health and wellness goals by creating training plans for the 5k, 10k, half - and full-marathon distances. Since 2014, I have completed 14 marathons, in which I qualified for the Boston Marathon five times and successfully ran it twice. Am a RRCA certified running coach and help plan events and other social activities as needed. In addition, I have over twenty-years of non-profit community relations experience, including planning programs, conferences, workshops, and fundraisers. Focus has been to support organizations striving to end global and domestic poverty, find a cure to Parkinson's, and eradicate Polio (and other diseases). Experience in several leadership roles in various local and national organizations. Background in English Composition course planning and instruction as well as acting as a mentor/advisor to students from diverse backgrounds.
