Welcome to my page! I’m Nikki, a dedicated and enthusiastic accounting student currently pursuing a Certificate in Accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After working in the field of Property Management for several years, I discovered a genuine interest in accounting principles and practices. This desire led me back to VCU to pursue a degree in accounting. In addition to my coursework, I have gained practical experience in public accounting through an internship at Wall, Einhorn, & Chernitzer CPAs, where I prepared tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Additionally, I worked in private accounting as a Staff Accountant for Continental Underwriters, Inc. In that position I was responsible for cash receipts/disbursements, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting. This experience has honed my attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and client communication skills.I am excited about the opportunity to bring my strong work ethic and eagerness to learn to a dynamic accounting firm.
