I put on my little laboratory coat and as cliche as it sounds, it just felt right. From that moment, the future I envisioned was being in the laboratory, progressively diving deeper into the world of science. The love and aptitude I have for Chemistry, lead me to eventually complete my Masters degree 18 years later. I have worked incredibly hard to make that vision I had at 9 years old, into my reality, and continue to enjoy the process of growth, personally and professionally. I can proudly say, that the dreams and visions I had, have come into fruition. I started my journey at Ego Pharmaceuticals, where I gained lots of experience in:- GLP/GMP in the laboratory and production facilities.- Being able to test and know the quality requirements for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring the production of high-quality products to help people with their skin. - Analysing data to participate in root-cause-analyses and out-of-specification investigations.+ So much more! This is a wonderfully challenging role where I translate the creation of products that come out of research and innovation, to manufacturing. For me, the bigger picture is to one day lead a team to drive quality processes towards continuous improvement and ensuring the products that make it to the market, are those that serve their function, and make the person using it, feel like they are giving themselves the most exquisite sensory experience through daily self-care that they deserve.
