Current- Lead comprehensive testing from user interface to functionality to data integrity for a complex internal payroll related product, with the bug detection rate up to 85% delivering consistent results year over year and throughout various modules- Created test requirements based on the product and business requirements, provided detailed test process documentation including test plans, test scenarios, outlined test cases. Followed code guidelines to ensure best possible test execution rate- Provided concise test report, bug description, and initial root cause analysis for the bug reducing the time for bug fixes and team response. Closely collaborated with the development team on the bug lifecycle following up on the stages- Performed manual testing, built test automation framework from scratch using Gauge+Taiko BDD test framework, created automation scripts in Javascript and Python also using SQL/BigQuery queries and libraries, maintained and updated the test framework, test suites and test scripts (approximately 150 functional test scripts, 20 data integrity tests and 70 mixed test scripts)- Ensured all test scripts are delivered in a timely manner and test coverage and detailed reports are ready before deadlines as defined by Agile/Kanban methodology- Maintained CI/CD in Github, Docker and Jenkins to ensure flawless test process within reasonable or predetermined time frame- Actively participated in new feature discussions suggesting improvements in user interface, usability. Provided feedback with potential issues advocating the client/user’s point of view- Received great feedback and accolades from the development team as well as the project manager on the efficiency, quality and speed of testing process
