Conducting evidence based person centered training on sexual and reproductive health

Serve as an expert referral source for young people, parents/caregivers, adults, educators, and social service providers in the provision of sexuality education and coaching services.Demonstrate exceptional public speaking, group facilitation, writing skills, effective teaching, and presentation techniques.Planned, promote, and schedule educational events.Organize, develop, design, and implement culturally sensitive, age-appropriate, inclusive, and trauma-informed content that is medically accurate and pedagogically sound on a variety of human sexuality topics including but not limited to contraception, sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS prevention, safer sex practices, puberty and adolescent development, sexual orientation, sexual decision making and effective communication around issues of human sexuality.Collaborate with partner organizations, therapists, schools, and educators to deliver high-quality programming.

Adolescent Initiative- HIV Prevention and Education Mobile Unit

The Manager of Instruction is responsible for the recruitment, supervision, training and support of volunteer teaching mentors and summer teachers, ensuring that they are able to implement the curriculum and actively engage scholars in learning. The Manager of Instruction plans and executes center events, field trips and other activities to enhance the scholar’s learning experience. The Manager of Instruction also works closely with the Center Director and other staff to manage the relationships and operations necessary to run an excellent Achievement Center providing year-round academic programming for up to 100 middle school students.

• Attend all daily classes and activities with assigned group, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am – 3:30pm.• Assist campers with class content, dance skills, choreography and activities as needed in classes• Assist dance instructors or facilitators with classroom management.• Monitor camper’s behavior and act as a liaison between campers and faculty members, AileyCamp Director, and other AileyCamp staff• Report individual campers’ counseling needs to the Guidance Counselor• Assist faculty members as needed in the creation of the end-of-camp performance materials• Participate in lunch duty, free periods and general supervision of campers when not in classes or meetings• Participate in all rehearsal, preparation and day-of final performance activities as needed to support the artistic staff• Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings (3:30 – 4:30pm) and individual meetings with the AileyCamp Director

• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.• Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Dance/USA's Membership Internship provides an introduction to the work of an association (member) based organization. This opportunity will connect the intern to the national dance community, raise the intern’s awareness of dance in America and field-wide trends, and provide practical, hands-on work experience in arts administration. This position works alongside the Director of Member Services.Duties include, but are not limited to: Creating and publishing Dance/USA’s monthly Member Bulletin Updating Dance/USA’s website Assisting with Dance/USA annual recruitment campaign Managing Dance/USA’s Spotlight on Members Responding to member needs and requests in a timely and professional manner Processing membership payments (includes some database work) Communicating with and engaging current and new members (via personalize communications, Welcome Packets, etc.)
