• Developed public safety software to dispatch emergency services for law enforcement agencies across the world.• Analysed complicated real time scenarios while complying with strict Government (P25) standards.• Designed and implemented a channel resource allocation algorithm for a feature called Enhanced Dual Dynamic Mode that dynamically determined the Grade of Service and reduced the call wait times by 30%. Authored a whitepaper to estimate the cost and determine the feasibility of implementing this solution. Played the lead role on this project and successfully delivered a quality product against aggressive deadlines. This implementation cut huge costs by reusing existing infrastructure.• Implemented the Next Generation Interoperability project in collaboration with the system design team to translate complex system level requirements into box requirements. This project enabled the first responders to extend the coverage area while maintaining call processing services back to their home system. Designing this feature involved analyzing complex real-time use case scenarios, maintaining compliance with strict Government standards (P25), and solving intricate race conditions using test-driven development. Also played a critical role in all facets of the project from authoring box requirements, design and implementation, creating and executing box test cases, supporting system level testing, investigating and resolving issues• Developed an Android mobile app for Wave 7000 Push-To-Talk Client for public safety which extended ASTRO radio to broadband and enabled communication between radio and mobile broadband users. Role included user interface development with Android Studio, coordinating and resolving QA reported issues using JIRA, and version management using tools such as GIT and BitBucket.

• Assisted in implementing a product designed to provide uninterrupted service without loss of functionality in the event of failure or destruction of any controlling master site by providing geographic redundant Fixed Network Equipment for US Navy Enterprise Land Mobile Radio System. This project required refactoring 70% of the legacy architecture to improve performance and scalability.• Gained experience working with cross-functional teams in delivering a quality product called Conventional Talkgroups that provides separation of digital voice communications on a conventional channel. Responsibilities included working with multiple teams to build test case scenarios and travelling to the offshore team in Poland to oversee and support the System Level testing effort.• Implemented a feature called Dynamic Transcoding that introduced a new device the “Transcoder”, to each zone to perform the conversion between half-rate and full-rate audio. The main objective of this project was to allow customers to interoperate with users who do not have TDMA and to avoid busy resources when granting a call. • Volunteered for various process improvement initiatives such as managing continuous integration tools (Jenkins) and conducting root cause analysis for defects. Consistently analyzed the build metrics to come up with action items to help the team improve productivity and quality.

• Assisted in collecting, validating and analyzing the data obtained from surveys taken as a part of a research program in School of Public Health. The analysis includes obtaining frequencies, verification and validation of data. SPSS package is used for performing this analysis.• Member of the Computer Tech Support team where responsibilities include troubleshooting computers and maintenance/installation of computer software.
