Associate Research Manager
Current• Serve as Lead Writer/Coordinator on the Medicaid team, managing a team of up to 10 people and helping grow the Medicaid team from 3 to over 30 people.• Key contributor to over 20 publications by government agencies, including Report to Congress chapters by the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC).• Work directly with company’s upper management/C-suite and other team leads to make key strategic decisions, estimate and track budgets, develop data analysis and processing methodologies, and write white papers.• Go-to expert within the company on Medicaid policy, statistical analysis using large datasets, and communicating complicated results and analyses in innovative, easy-to-understand ways.• Oversee project organization, prioritization, communication, and management across the entire team, resulting in our team maintaining a record of successful on-time completion of high-quality work.• Responsible for quality of our team’s deliverables, including providing ongoing guidance and final validation.• Foster trust and maintain long-term relationships with clients, leading to many follow-on contracts, recurring projects, and expansions to our scope of work.• Led or contributed to many winning proposals to secure additional work.
