I love spreadsheets, data, and putting all the bits and pieces together to make a solid representation of the current project. I fell into being an analyst somewhat serendipitously while temping as an office contractor searching for my next social work case management position. After being promoted to the analyst position, I aligned and grew the simple role of providing one analytic service to one client to an entire department providing various analytics within and outside the company. While focusing primarily on retail and replenishment analytics for two lease operators of approximately 2200 collegiate bookstores, I’ve also conducted inventory management analytics, data analytics, and general project management across all fronts. As a senior analyst, I have successfully managed multiple employees to take our analytics department from nonexistent to an integral functioning powerhouse within the company. The best part is… I love it. I’ve been using Excel in my personal life for as long as I remember, from managing my paychecks and spending during high school, to tracking grades and calculating my GPA while finishing my degree.
