Key Responsibilities:• Designed and prepared construction orders related to overhead and underground facilities associated with electric distribution systems in California. Applied prescribed standards, guides, specifications and procedures.• Assisted in the performance of load studies on various jobs related to distribution transformers. Investigated circuit overloads and voltage complaints to determine necessary corrective action. Performed Voltage drop and Flicker calculation.• Prepared post estimate packages for more than 200 work orders in California, including replacement/installation of SCADA operated Switches, Trip savers, Capacitors and Regulators.• Prepared more than 200 construction packages for 07D/2AA/2AF/2AO/B-tag/GAC ( pole replacement, equipment replacement, pole loading, removal of idle facilities, SCADA equipment installation)jobs. • Learned fire hardening standards of PG&E/ CPUC and implemented them in the Butte County Rebuild project (OH and UG tap lines). Proposed new 12kV primary distribution lines, 600V secondary distribution lines, line fuses, Switches and other protective equipment as per Utility’s Fire hardening standards.• Assisted in the High Speed Rail project by relocating and designing the distribution system as per utility standards.• Prepared Circuit Map Change Sheet for different projects, incorporated new 12kV primary lines, line fuses, switches and other primary distribution equipment.• Performed project work management by using SAP. Navigated SAP by activating/ deactivating different tasks, uploaded related documents.

Key Responsibilities were: - Conducted power flow studies, performed transmission system re-configurations, schedule curtailments, re-dispatching generation and reduced demand as required. Assessed the reliability impact of near-term planned and real time forced transmission and distribution outages.-Engineering Support: Provided engineering support in 24/7 rotational shifts to different departments i.e Grid System Operation, Grid System Construction, Distribution Operation and Distribution Construction.-Coordination: Coordinated in planned and forced outages of the Transmission system and ensured system security, reliable operations and system restoration.- Monitoring: Comprehensively monitored and implemented the Reliability Plan(RP) for electrical system of LESCO (5800MVA), which included operating procedures, restoration procedures, and management of the under-frequency and under voltage load shedding. Maintained continuous electric supply of LESCO which has more than 120 substations, 1775 feeders and 4.5 million consumers by using MTI Galaxy Live Monitor.- Surveillance & Supervisory Control : Observed various Power Quality parameters of LESCO MW, MVAR, Voltage, Frequency and Power Factor by using EMS Application. - Testing & Commissioning: Ensured solid communication among Power Distribution Control Center of LESCO and its 120 Substations, 305 I/C panels of power transformers and 1775 11KV feeders. Tested various components of an electrical system i.e relays, circuit breakers, Capacitor banks, Regulators and Tap changers using MTI software.- Load Management Planning: Devised and implemented the load management plan (of Avg 4000MW) to avoid system over loading and meet generation constraints. - Took appropriate real-time actions under normal and emergency conditions and maintained system reliability in compliance with Regional Control Center (RCC).- Prepared power outage summaries, Fault reports, SAIDI, SAIFI and CAIDI.
