• Develops curriculum and leads trainings in support of Operational Excellence programs throughout the system. These include, but not limited to: Gemba Board training, 8 wastes, Error Proofing, Visual management, Root.
• Supports the deployment, sustainment, and maturity of Operational Excellence programs at three MaineHealth member organizations – Franklin Community Health Network, Southern Maine Health Care, and Information Technology.
• Leads performance improvement projects with interdisciplinary teams to improve operations, quality metrics, patient experience scores, and financial performance.

• Facilitates process mapping or value stream mapping sessions with interdisciplinary teams to design or improve a process by removing or reducing the impact of non-value added activities.
• Serves as a liaison between finance and operations to help managers understand their staffing needs, productivity targets, while maintaining a focus on patient experience and quality metrics.

• Provide strategic planning, execution and promotion of initiatives for the Center for Aviation and Automotive Technology Education using virtual e-schools. Pursue grant funding for existing and new programs.
• Point of contact for Center’s principal investigator, bridging communication with grant investigators, center investors, and industry partners.
• Develop flexible educational materials for online technology programs that support industry needs.
• Organize and coordinate K-12 outreach programs through education fairs, educational opportunities, and coordination of summits for continuing education for educators.
• Assisted development of user interfaces for online distribution of curriculum.

• Assisted in writing planning grant for the creation of a regional Automotive and Aviation Technician Education center. Grant awarded. Member of strategic planning team. Participate in initiatives in support of the.
• Handled various projects, including managing and preparing for the Industrial Engineering department’s ABET Accreditation reevaluation, developing operational processes, maximizing space utilization, improved data.

• As Teacher of Record, supervised two assistants, and provided students with guidance on strategic planning, methodology, and developing engineering solutions that meet industry requirements.
• Built partnerships with local companies that provide opportunities for student projects.
• Conducted constructive feedback on project deliverables, including evaluation of technical reports and presentations. Instructed students in how to work within team dynamics.
• Twice earned Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award.
