Program Management of Automation expansion for Amazon Logistics.

I supervise ‘Failure Analysis’ and ‘Repair’ departments to maintain and support a fleet of downhole drilling equipment for all of European operations. • Key Responsibilities: provide technical expertise in failure analysis, metallurgy and mechanical design, identify opportunities to reduce cost of service delivery, recognize opportunities to improve fleet reliability, implement design and maintenance improvements to address short comings• Manage welding qualification projects at external manufacturers and provided technical insight and support related to metallurgy and material testing. • Conduct regular vendor audits and supplier quality workshops to ensure a high level of product quality• Provide data-driven engineering solutions for improving fleet reliability and focusing on high-impact reliability projects

• Designed the next generation downhole alternator to provide electrical power to Schlumberger drilling tools in the drill string. This was a multi-year project comprising of a complex electro-mechanical machine, designed to operate in harsh drilling environments at temperatures up to 150 C and pressures up to 25,000 psi. • Key Responsibilities: develop mechanical architecture, design CAD models and engineering drawings, construct overall manufacturing strategy, identify internal and external manufacturing suppliers, obtain prototypes, design and conduct lab experiments to mimic operating conditions to validate designs, conduct modeling studies (finite element analysis, rotor-dynamic analysis) to predict machine response under high stress conditions

• Successfully provided Engineering support for various high volume MWD (Measurement While Drilling) product lines deployed in major land markets including North America, China, Russia and Brazil.• Collaborated with Schlumberger Field Operations to enhance and improve maintenance practices.• Developed and implemented design changes across the entire fleet to eliminate key failure modes and improve profits.

• Delivered Measurement while drilling (MWD), Logging while drilling (LWD) and Drilling Optimization services to clients such as Talisman, Apache, Nexen, British Gas etc. to improve drilling performance in the UK North Sea.• Gained an expert insight on the high-tier offshore Oil & Gas Drilling Operations & Business.
