Responsible for the new business opportunities assessment, the development of growth plans and the preparation and approval of strategic projects within necessary forums.

Reporting to Country CEO, takes care of the new Sustainability division in VC Spain Business Unit, responsible for the company’s decarbonization journey, comprising CO2 capture, storage & usage, waste management, renewable energies, and supplementary cementitious materials. Strategy and New Businesses responsibilities embrace investments, divestments, and strategic initiatives to generate value for the shareholders

Reporting to the Country CEO, takes care of a new strategic area of waste management and CO2 being responsible of providing a full set of services to the waste generators, developing the value chain down to the cement operation and optimize company’s CO2 short and mid-term strategy together with the Country Operations Head. Also responsible of the power supply to VC Spain operations and circular economy projects.

Reporting to Country CEO, responsible of all Votorantim Cimentos Ready-Mix and Aggregates Operations in the South Spain Region. Current operations comprises 49 employees in 3 aggregates quarries and 11 active ready-mix plants.

Responsible for assisting in business development activities of VCEAA in the different countries where they have operations; sales & marketing strategy and performance; M&A opportunities; tracking the optimization of acquired assets, profitability and the sustainability of companies’ portfolio. As well as providing operational intelligence on current businesses, more specifically operational excellence and manufacturing cost.

Working in Constructions Building Materials Industry, directly reporting to Operations VP.Key role in Global Performance and Benchmarking projects for Cement business, managing industrial data and analyzing operational and costing key performance indicators.Following closely cement plant operations.Responsible for industrial performance excellence projects and implementation of expert systems in plant equipments.Responsible of developing, maintaining and managing the Manufacturing Execution System for plant daily operation for all VCEAA cement units.Involved in M&A projects responsible for analyzing plant cost and operational performance.

As IT Project Manager and Business Intelligence Consultant worked 7 consecutive years in Cimpor (Cimentos de Portugal), Constructions Building Materials Industry, implementing projects in a wide range of the cement business areas as Mining, Quality, Finance but with deep focus on Technical Operational areas (process, maintenance and performance).Key role in cement business performance measurement and improvement processes such as plants benchmarking and cost optimization processes.Responsible of managing and implementing in all Cimpor cement units the Manufacturing Execution System for plant daily operation.

As Business Intelligence Consultant worked in a wide variety of projects in many different business areas as logistics, automobile and especially pharmaceutical. During 4 years was involved in developing and implementing a Datawarehouse project for Pfizer Portugal and later to other Pfizer European Countries, such as Spain, Germany, Norway, France and Italy.
