As Clinical Research Coordinator - Regulatory Affairs, my role is to ensure the successful startup and conduct of clinical research studies at the CHU de Québec-Université Laval Oncology Research Unit.To do so, I must... • Supervise and ensure that clinical trial activities are conducted in accordance with the protocol and regulatory guidelines. • Coordinate clinical trial activities between different departments, teams and services to ensure compliance with the work plan and predefined timelines.• Filters information and transmits necessary information to the various parties involved in the clinical trials to ensure adherence to prescribed procedures, policies and recommendations. • Supervise, prepare and maintain essential files and documents related to clinical studies• Prepare clinical study submissions to the Research Ethics Board (REB)

Centre de recherche en santé durable - VITAM (COMPASS PROJECT)The COMPASS project is a longitudinal study funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and Health Canada. The COMPASS Project is examining the health behaviours of youth and the evolution of health policies and programs in participating institutions.This study is a Canadian and global first in that it allows us to observe changes in youth health behaviours over time, determine whether changes in institutional health policies and programs are effective and work directly with institutions to implement changes.In this project, my role was mainly to collect data. In order to do this, I had to go to different schools in Quebec and evaluate them. Several aspects were evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively, such as the accessibility to support services, sports programs offered, socio-cultural activities, meals offered by the school, surrounding infrastructures, etc. I also had to discuss with the schools' management about their situation and to look with them at the different programs and corrective actions they could put in place.
