Real Estate Development

- worked on real estate policy changes, including the new Latvian rental regulation, a fast track for large real estate project approvals in Riga, reducing and capping the sale of property stamp duties, 30m+ EUR subsidies to shopping centers due to Covid - grew the organization from 9 to 40+ members- member of the Riga Investors Advisory Council (Riga City), Construction Council of Latvia (Ministry of Economics) and Real Estate Tax Comittee (Ministry of Finance)

- co-founded a partnership organisation of the key developers in the Skanste District of Riga, aiming to turn it into the modern centre of Riga- succesfully lobbied for a municipal and EU investment of 25m+ EUR in Skanste’s infrastucture (new streets, sustainable water collection system and a park)

- contributed to new policy papers (National Industrial Policy, Latvian Energy Long Term Strategy, Reemigration Support Plan, Reform of State Owned Enterprises, etc.)

- was instrumental in starting the construction of the new National Library of Latvia project, renovation program of 100+ cultural buildings, modernization of 800+ Latvian public libraries, new policy initiatives (Cultural Policy Guidelines, Policy on Creative Industries, Latvian Cultural Canon)
