Daily Responsibilities:• Utilize Arcsight, Cisco Firepower network monitoring tools, and IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) information to monitor network traffic.• Identify and analyze suspicious/malicious activities and tracking of malicious code• Login to Cisco ASA and McAfee Sidewinder firewalls to validate access-list, run configs, and logs.• Login to Cisco Routers and switches adding Security Hardening Configurations.• Perform Health Checks on IDS devices throughout the network to ensure functionality. • Perform on-call troubleshooting with on-site Tech on IDS devices that are offline or not functioning as designed.• Communicate with FAA and NCO about network traffic, possible threats, and request to modify accounts.• Create and modify Signatures as requested by the FAA for network monitoring and analysis.• Utilize Wire Shark to analyze traffic and PCAP files related to suspicious network traffic.

Daily Responsibilities: • Provide network support for Bank of America in a Networking and NOC environment.• Troubleshoot circuit issues from carriers such as, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Century Link, Level 3, and British Telecom.• Login to the family of Cisco router and switch models daily to perform health checks, input commands, and troubleshoot networking issues.• Support and manage routing protocols such as BGP, iBGP, MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, and VLAN support in banking environment.• Provide network support and troubleshoot network issues for ATM Machines.• Part replacement due to hardware failure and Switch and Router config modification to correct errors.• Proficient with Map Monitoring System in collaboration with Global Remedy and ticket creation.• Provide wireless network support for all Bank of America and Merrill Lynch locations.• Troubleshoot Wireless Access Points to resolve wireless connections issues for laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.• Utilize Cisco Prime to help troubleshot wireless issues by analyzing wireless interference, signal strength and wireless controller state. • Utilized ISE to manage and troubleshoot mobile wireless device issues, such as, Ipads and Android tablets.• Respond to incoming calls from Field Engineers, Black Box Technicians, and Carrier Technicians to help troubleshoot network issues from the physical layer and logical setup.
