I started my carrier as MT in the Spinning and have grown up to the position of Sr.Vice President -Fin/ACT/IT/ Legal in a Fast Moving Consumer Product Company. From the beginning I have worked with Multi-Product, Multi Division and Multi-Location Companies both in India and Overseas. ( Organisation Worked India – TVS Group, Fenner, VKL, Cholayil( Medmix, Cuticura & KT ) – Organization in Overseas – Bendle Brewery Limited – Church Gate Group in Nigeria. Got exposure and exp. in understanding the Overall Product Costing (including each SKU wise) by getting directly involved and working with R&D, Operations, SCM & Logistics and thereby achieving the right product cost for the organization. Closely worked with S & MTeam including a visit to various markets and understanding the Market dynamics, Competitor pricing, Channel partners, Distributor margins etc and worked to suggest the right pricing to the management for the Product apart from the right product mix to optimize both top and bottom line. .Got exposure and exp. in the analysis of Revenue, Expenses, Profit etc through Proper MIS and also in preparing a BP (Monthly, Annually)including SBP followed by sign off of the same by convincing all the concerned Heads of function and the CMD. Exposure and experience in the hands-on working of various finance tool including Hedging, Interest Swap and various treasury instruments like CP, FCNR Loan, Short Term Loan etc to keep the cost of funding at the desired budget level. First time in the history of Banking, got a Term loan for Branding purposes. Implemented various Internal Control processes across the function including ERP implementation in multi-location ( SAP S4 Hana – Version 2021, Oracle, Wings ERP) . Exposure in getting funds through Private Equity Funds (Starting from preparation of Business Strategy to Receipt of Funds into company including handling of Legal, Business, Financial Due Diligence)Exp and Exposure in Brand Acquisition, Consortium/Multiple Banking, to meet the funding requirement of respective organization Implementation of GST. Creation of Private Family Trust to achieve the objectives of Passing on family legacy to future generations in a seamless manner, Preservation of assets, Tax optimization, Ring-fencing of personal assets from business risks, Planning the ownership, management and control of the Company, among the next generation, Protection from extended family risk . Implemented SAP S4 Hana and successfully went for go live on 6th April 2022 .In short grown from an Accountant to a dedicated hardcore Commercial Person.
