IntoUniversity is an award-winning social mobility organisation that works to tackle educational inequality. We support young people in the UK’s least privileged neighbourhoods who face additional barriers to accessing university or other means of higher education.Key responsibilities include: - Leading and managing the Primary FOCUS programme at IntoUniversity Leeds East. This includes the planning, organisation and delegation of all aspects of the programme. The Primary FOCUS programme is a structured programme delivered to primary schools in the local area. - Managing the Primary FOCUS budget.- Liaising with key external stakeholders, such as corporate partners, universities, and schools.- Creating resources and workshops that are of high quality and are accessible to a variety of audiences.- Organising educational trips to a multitude of venues, such as universities and corporate offices. This includes assessing venues beforehand and writing up thorough risk assessments. - Providing long-term, pastoral care for young people between the ages of 7-18.- Delivering and organising workshops that increase students’ knowledge of various educational pathways and career options.- Providing support with CV writing, interview skills, the UCAS process and personal statements.- Championing D&I and creating a safe environment in which all students feel welcomed. - Diligently handling sensitive and complex safeguarding cases. - Meeting a wide variety of targets.- Using CRM database Salesforce.

Responsible for managing incoming applications for the MSc Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity programme at Gustave Eiffel University. Specific duties included:- Processing applicants’ data onto our database - Ensuring that all applicants met the necessary entry requirements and had submitted the correct documents- Arranging online interviews between the candidates and course directors - Notifying candidates of the status of their applications, whether they were successful or not - Preparing and sending necessary Visa and embassy documents to successful international candidates - Being a point of contact for questions regarding the MSc Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity course, the admissions process, or the university - Translating leaflets and website articles from French into English

KERN provides language courses and translation services for private clients and large corporations. As a Project Management Assistant working across both departments, my key duties included: • Establishing strong relationships with clients; communicating with them to determine which language course or translation service would be best suited to their needs. • Organising the language course and maintaining it, being the key contact throughout the duration of the course.• Contacting our network of translators to organise the translation of a variety of documents, from instruction manuals to legal documentation. • Overseeing the process of the translation, ensuring that all deadlines were being met by our translators and that the client was satisfied with the quality of the translation.• Creating contracts and distributing them to all parties. • Processing invoices using specialist software.• Using SEMCO database.• Assisting heavily in the areas of proofreading and editing, both German to English and English to German.
