My research project focuses on investigating the neuroprotective role of astrocytic mitochondria in Alzheimer’s disease, in in vivo mice model. Brain research institute. Neurophysiology.My work focused on the physiological role of group II metabotropic glutamate receptors in the CA1 network of the hippocampus. I was interested in understanding how these receptors modulate synaptic activity in pyramidal cells and interneurons as well as their involvement in metaplasticity by using electrophysiological technics (whole cell and field recordings) and pharmacology.

My research focused on the physiological effects induced by early life stress (MSUS model) in the rodent brain by using electrophysiological technics.
