As an intern within the marketing department, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from the different marketing departments. The main project I have been working during my time here is a business development private equity project for the partners. Other tasks that I have undertaken include branding, client intelligence, events, public relations. As I have been progressing through the internship, I have realised that business development is what I have developed a strong sense of interest in and I feel like I have the required set of skills to develop a career in this.

As a sales associate at Gucci I had the opportunity to enhance my sales skills to a high level an example of this would be cross selling. In addition to this, as I was working in the Harrods concession where I was competing with other luxury brands, this made me work in a very sales target orientated environment where I was pushed to perform to my limits and beyond. I also was exposed to working with high priority clients and developing my own relationships with them and offering a high level of customer service.
