With over 14 years of professional experience, I have built a solid foundation in Solar PV design, execution, and procurement & contract management across various sectors. My journey began at BHEL, a Maharatna PSU, where I spent 13+ years honing my expertise before transitioning to DNV, a leading global consultancy. I am a proud alumnus of IIT Bombay, one of India’s premier engineering institutes, where I earned my master's degree. In addition, I hold certifications as a Chartered Engineer (Electrical), BEE Certified Energy Manager and Energy Auditor.𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗩 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:At BHEL, I played a pivotal role in the design and execution of Solar PV projects totaling over 130 MW in capacity. My responsibilities spanned the entire project lifecycle, from proposal engineering to commissioning and troubleshooting during the O&M period. This experience gave me a comprehensive understanding of Solar PV projects, including detailed design engineering, quality plan preparation, vendor inspections, and on-site project management. I also contributed to innovative projects, such as the development of in-house String Monitoring Boxes, Solar Power Conditioning Units (PCUs), Solar SCADA systems, and initiatives like Solar-Wind Hybrid rooftops and Floating Solar projects.𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗶𝗹 & 𝗚𝗮𝘀:In my later years at BHEL, I focused on procurement and contract management for key equipment in downstream Oil & Gas refineries, managing critical packages such as Reaction Furnaces and Incinerators. This role sharpened my ability to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of essential components, contributing to the success of these complex projects.𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗡𝗩:As a Senior Solar Consultant at DNV, I provide comprehensive design consultancy services to IPPs, investors, and financial institutions. My expertise includes energy assessments, contract and design reviews, asset management, site audits, and technology evaluations. I also serve as an Owner’s Engineer (OE), offering technical support to investors to inform their financial decisions and investments in solar energy.𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:Throughout my career, I have developed proficiency in tools such as PVSYST, MS Office, AUTOCAD, C, and MATLAB.Driven by a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to excellence, I am eager to continue contributing to the global energy transition.
