Herbiery is a recipe brewery contracting with production breweries to craft beer using herbs and spices totally in place of hops. This allows me to highlight flavors and aromas previously unavailable on the market. Strong, mutually beneficial relationships with production breweries are built and maintained through sustained positive interaction and clear communication. I take sales orders and maintain connections with retailers who carry my product. I work with distributors and refrigerated warehouses to efficiently bring a quality product to said retailers and meet the demands of the market. I connect with artists, illustrators, and graphic designers to create beautiful and engaging label art in line with consistent branding and marketing strategies.

Take Refuge Canoe offers guided canoe trips on the nationally recognized Kenai national wildlife canoe trails. I provided paddling instruction and information about the flora, fauna, and history in the region. I held a wilderness first aid certification for safety.

Leveled and prepared plots of land for conversion to garden plots of strawberries, potatoes, corn, squash, onions, garlic, and other plants. Formed and leveled dirt tracks and laid gravel for roads. Tended to gardens and plants. Removed invasive and undesired plants from the property. Cleared and terraced hillsides for garden plots.

I was a mechanic in training at the shop location. I also rented fat bikes, mountain bikes, and cruiser bikes on the Homer, AK spit.

I facilitated problem solving and critical thinking in small groups of seven students in a classroom setting. One student presented a point of confusion, the other students prompted with questions until the presenter had an "aha moment" and realized what needed to be done in order to solve their problem. My job was to mediate the process and help the students work together.

I created, implemented, and facilitated after school programming for middle school students.

We have educated over 200 students on local, Minnesota waterways. These trips provided students with a sense of connection to the place they call home: Minnesota. River systems can be a strong touchstone for personal identity. The education on these overnight canoe trips provided insight into specific areas of study often glossed over in school. Programming with experts in the field is paired with encouraged curiosity and directed questioning.Through a Fall program called Paddle Forward we have paddled the entire lengths of the Mississippi, Illinois, and Minnesota Rivers in 2013, 2014, and 2015 respectively. These trips are defined by their adventure learning goals which have been successful in reaching over 3000 students across the country. Our adventure learning allows students to travel vicariously with us down a major river system in the Mississippi River Watershed. Our learning from historians, ecologists, Native people, river communities, and water stewards gets translated into videos and written content freely shared with all teachers and students interested in following along.

Prepared the warehouse for a customer conference, Midco-fest. Painted walls, removed clutter, consolidated space for the booths and keynote speakers. After the fest, I accepted a part-time position where I received packages and continued to maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Gained experience in the Police Department, Sheriff's Office, state court services, parole services, juvenile detention center. I utilized arrest records, police reports, and other research to create reports which summarized race, gender, and age in relation to crime statistics within the city. This research and eventual documentation was able to accurately present disparities in arrest records along the lines of race and class. This research explained a larger system of historic and socio-cultural stratification in Rapid City and Pennington County.

Manufactured university signs, managed the installation and break down of loft rentals, cleaned out and prepared a residence hall for implosion, maintained the campus environment.
