I've rescued failing projects, maintained legacy systems, and taken SaaS products from nothing all the way to acquisition. Many automated systems and customer-facing applications I built are still in use today.Some problems are best solved without the complication and overhead of customized software. If a company really does need a software solution, it is usually better to buy something that already exists, rather than to build something new. If a company really does need to build proprietary software, the culture, attitudes, processes, systems, and person-to-person touch points are just as important as the code, architecture, testing, security, deployment processes, and data hierarchies.I spend my free time adventuring with my family, playing music, reading books, and snowboarding.
