> Working on a collaborative research project between Oriental University of Naples and Renmin University of China, on "Emotions and States of Mind in Ming & Qing Literature", part of an international research project on the textual analysis of literary and non-literary sources in late imperial China.>> Responsible for creating an English database of vocabularies and expressions concerning emotions and the state of mind in "the Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio" (circa 1740), translating the original Chinese texts into English and evaluating the collected expressions therefrom.>>> The work was mainly carried out in Sapienza-Università di Roma [University of Rome], where the director of the project was based.
