Teaching Assistant to Dr. Pam Patterson, for the undergraduate course 'Museums, Galleries, and Alternates' (Winter 2023). In this role I assumed the position of Lead Curator for the campus-wide APRÈS QUOI Festival and assisted students in the process of curation: from concept to realization. Research Assistant to Dr. Gerald McMaster at the Wapatah: Centre for Indigenous Visual Knowledge at OCAD University. Working on a small, collaborative team to further research into contemporary art production by Indigenous artists and practitioners in the Circumpolar Arctic. Experience highlights:• Conducted extensive research into contemporary art practices of Indigenous art practitioners in the Circumpolar Arctic and participated in curatorial and programming decisions for the 'Arctic/Amazon: Networks of Global Indigeneity' major exhibition at The Power Plant Gallery (September 30 - December 31, 2022). • Supported the publication process by building and maintaining a collaborative database system for image assets and copyright licensing information. • Obtained copyright clearance and permissions for 150+ images, maintained accurate credit lines, and served as ongoing liaison between artists, gallery representatives, estate managers, museums, and stakeholders. • Developed and coordinated a research database to track project, ephemera status, and stakeholder communication, with highly efficient management of varying deadlines and shifting priorities as project progressed. • Supported the team on curatorial tasks related to the exhibition, including building a digital 3D model of the galleries to help visualize artwork placement.• Co-developed lecture series “Beauty and Resilience: Indigenous Art in Canada” for Hot Docs Curious Minds.

As Research Fellow, I led two historical walking tours of Jewish Montreal, exposing visitors and locales to the lesser known cultural history of the city. In addition, my responsibilities included:• Co-developed historical walking tours and conducted and edited oral history interviews on immigration experiences to Montreal.• Enthusiastically facilitated conversations between visitors from diverse backgrounds and ages, creating space for new knowledge and ideas to develop.
