Taking on multiple challenges and succeeding every day. I am a firm believer in using every hour I have to make a difference. Either in my social circle and family lives, in my community, or on a more national and international level. Everything I do goes into helping make the great puzzle of my life a beautiful artwork. My first self-organized volunteer event was when I was 10 years old. I obtained permission from the principal to organize a group for a "recess" clean-up of the garbage that collected in a creek by my middle school over the years. With knowledge learned during Girl Scouts, we ensured items, such as discarded car batteries and medical waste, were handled as safely as possible. As I grew up, I focused on strengthening my skills with people, computers, & communication. I now educate users who are otherwise uncomfortable with technology by explaining how to use it in terms they can understand. I also keep furthering my knowledge into the IT world to help myself be more well-rounded team member so I can draw on the knowledge of events in the past to help troubleshoot issues more effectively in the future. Time isn't just money, it's a gift you can give. And I love to see mine well spent.Lastly, due to a company that has extracted my profile & title and determined erroneously that it was appropriate to have their consultants ask me for jobs/referrals. I have a policy to NOT refer anyone I do not have personal knowledge of their skills & I am not involved in the decision of hiring personel.
