I am an accomplished investigative journalist and TV producer making the transition to cyber security. I have a strong prior IT background with seven years experience in network administration, hardware, and software support (equivalent to CompTIA A+). I have spent the past 15 years in investigative journalism and television production. During this time, I was responsible for setting up and maintaining networks for production and post-production environments and staying current with IT advancements and developments.I am now making the transition back into IT, specifically cybersecurity, leveraging recent certifications in CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ and practical experience through their associated labs.I also have well-honed analytical, research and problem-solving skills learned from my journalism career.
