As an active member of AED, I am deeply involved in planning and executing various events aimed at fostering community engagement and professional development. Specifically, I spearhead the organization of three key events: the Christmas Sweater Social, the Semi-Formal, and the Health Professions Mixer. These events are meticulously planned to provide members with opportunities for social interaction, networking, and professional growth. In close collaboration with the President and Vice President of Operations (VPO), I work diligently to ensure all tasks related to event planning are carried out seamlessly. Additionally, I take charge of ordering food for our bi-weekly chapter meetings, ensuring members are well-fed and energized for productive discussions and activities.

Part of 50 members who got selected out of 200+ applicants to be part of this pre-health honor society. In this society, I have been able to go to 80+ events regarding a series of different values such as professionalism, and pre-health initiatives while also volunteering 20+ service hours in various service environments. Received the award for being Top Professional for Fall 2023, & Spring 2024 along with being Top Service for Spring 2024.

The Vice President of the Residence Hall Association (RHA) plays a crucial role in supporting the President and ensuring the smooth operation of RHA. Their duties encompass diverse responsibilities, including coordinating and overseeing RHA's committees, serving as the chief financial officer by managing budgets and financial records, regulating centralized RHA events, and facilitating Executive Board transitions through the creation of transition documents. Additionally, the Vice President is the liaison between RHA and various subsidiaries of Gamecock Entertainment, fostering partnerships and collaborations with organizations such as the Homecoming Commission, Carolina Productions, and Dance Marathon. The Vice President's multifaceted role is essential for the effective functioning and advancement of RHA's mission and initiatives.

In this role, alongside the other Advocacy Committee Chair, we helped create the initiative of increasing lighting across campus to help impact all residents. We decided on this initiative due to us finding out there are concerns about not enough lighting across campus and that our residents did not feel as safe when walking outside in the dark. As committee chair, I was tasked with creating the presentation to present to our student senators and university housing officials regarding why we need more lighting across campus to be able to more accessible for all. From this role, I delegated tasks to my committee members in getting pictures from each of the different residence halls that showcased the bad lighting (lights flashing, dark areas, etc) and from there created the presentation with the evidence to showcase why we needed better lighting to help serve our 8000+ residents.

Elected to be the RLC Chair for the 2023 SAACURH Conference, part of my duties include selecting Educational Sessions that deal with themes (Motivation, Advocacy, Growth, Inclusion, and Connection), overseeing the conference, and helping it run smoothly along with the other chairs.

In my role at the Free Medical Clinic, I serve as a critical link between underserved populations and essential healthcare services. My responsibilities are multifaceted, encompassing chart creation, assistance with paperwork, and comprehensive medical history documentation for patients facing significant healthcare access barriers due to factors like lack of insurance, unemployment, or low income. Aiding patients in navigating financial assistance paperwork through our organization is a vital aspect of my work, ensuring they can access the care they need and deserve. Additionally, I conduct thorough assessments, including taking vital signs such as blood glucose, A1C, blood pressure, and pulse. Through these efforts, I've facilitated access to crucial medical treatments for conditions such as cancer, diabetes, and hypertension. Moreover, I excel as a liaison, effectively communicating and coordinating between clinic administration, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.

Mentoring first-generation freshmen to help them adjust to campus life, monthly meetings along with events to help mentor the freshmen to be successful for this school year.

The Connect Lab is a research dedicated to promoting positive youth development. Research Assistants help the staff by promoting physical activity in the after-school programs or helping measure them and track their physical activity.

A hospital dedicated to the morals of inspiring health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Volunteers provide these morals by providing support to nurses and patients tending to their care and needs.

DEI Committee Members are tasked to help educate our student body to help promote diversity, inclusion, and equity on campus. Working as a team to create events to help educate student organizations on ways to improve diversity on campus.

Nabeeha applied, got interviewed, and then got selected alongside 39 other applicants to be part of this program. She was a part of the I & E committee which helps promotes diversity, inclusion, and equity across campus. Along with her committee members, she helped create a panel event to help the student body connect with student organization leaders on how to help better our campus diversity, inclusion, and equity.

A hospice dedicated to serving patients with the upmost care and respect they deserve. Volunteers serve to provide a companionship to those individuals who need unconditional love and support.
