I graduated with a MBChB degree in Medicine from Keele University, I completed my GP training in Tameside and was awarded GP Trainee of the Year in 2018. Clinically, I have a passion for dermatology, MSK, mental health, and navigating complex situations. I contribute to GP trainee education at Tameside Hospital and teach pharmacists at UCLAN. At The Brooke Surgery, I lead staff development and recruitment, fostering a fun and valuable learning environment. Staff well-being thrives with my initiatives – weekly debriefs, team building, and an annual positive feedback program. Partnering with colleagues outside The Brooke Surgery, I have driven innovation in areas like consultation systems, boosting our productivity. Patient satisfaction is equally important. My educational focus empowers through self-care awareness. I regularly address local health concerns, partner with local services, and during the pandemic, hosted weekly COVID updates. These efforts have demonstrably reduced consultation requests. Witnessing NHS primary care struggles, and being a believer in the application of healthcare technology, among other advancements, I championed a 24/7 system at The Brooke Surgery. This ensures the level of care I envisioned for my patients – care I would want for my own family. Through these efforts, patients have transformed their opinion of The Brooke Surgery - changing our Google rating from 2.6 to the highest in the country (4.7 with over 750 reviews!).
