Job Responsibilities:Design, Tendering & Manufacturing of Power Cables for SCECO, DEWA, ADWEA/ADDC, KAHRAMAA, EETC, MEW, TRANSCO, SEWA, FEWA & EWA.Handling Business Development oriented HTLS Enquires and providing technical presentations to help the customer select the proper HTLS for their requirement.Designing of HPC conductors such as ACCC, STACIR, TACSR, TACIR, ACSS, GAP, and various type Conductors (i.e.) based on location, load, budget, standards applicable.Preparing sag & tension chart, in PLS CADD, CSD in Auto CADD for the conductors quoted.Preparing the electrical characteristics such as Line inductance, Capacitance, GMR, GMD and performance characteristics of a transmission line.Design cable solutions that meet customer requirements and relevant national and international standards for HV and EHV Cables up to 400 kV.Supporting contractors and clients with different power cables electrical calculations such as Current carrying capacity (reference IEC 60287), Induced sheath voltage calculations (reference IEEE 575), sequence impedance, short circuits (IEC 60949) and cable pulling tension (reference AEIC CG5).Establishing and maintaining design standards Implementation of ERP systems such as Cable design software ADVARIS, CDS & BANN.Technical support & Design of company Product Catalogs for Manufacturing of LSF, Fire Resistant Cables & Solar Cables.Preparing and investigating the cable failure analysis reports.Updating the standards and maintaining the standard records for internal as well as for external Audit.Perform all applicable routine, acceptance and type tests in order to validate and qualify the product for commercial manufacturing.Assisting BD team in educating the customer and providing necessary training on the product and the benefits of its applications.Check the product meets all National and International standards and make necessary improvements if required.

Familiarity with Government and industry standards for the design, fabrication, procurement and test of cables.Wide experience in preparing Tender documents related to SEC, DEWA, FEWA, SEWA, EWA & KAHRAMAA.Wide knowledge of LV, MV and HV cable design.Preparation and arrangement of Technical data and specifications for project inquiries.Providing computations and calculation (Ampacity, Induced Voltage, Short Circuit, Sequence Impedance etc) related to cable Design as per IEC 60287. Preparation and checking of Design Sheets for manufacturing and quality control.Provide schematic and dimensional drawing of specific cables applicable as per customer requirement.Uploading of code / description and prices to SAP system.Provide packing length details drum schedule, dimensions and volume.Coordinating the flow of inquiries, prices, cable coding, technical data and schematic drawings of an item code cable between Technical/Sales Division and various branches (Jeddah, Dammam, Riyadh,Jordan, Qatar, Dubai, Kuwait and Bahrain).Assist Technical and Bid & Quotation Managers for pricing work-out for inquiries.Updating and maintaining the standards (IEC, ASTM, BS, BS EN, IEEE, ISO, ICEA, AEICS, etc) for the related Departments.
