Key Accountability include:• Formulating and developing health and safety policies and plans• Advising ways of promoting a positive health and safety culture. • Recommending means of securing the effective implementation of health and safety policy. • Planning for health and safety including setting of realistic short - and long - term objectives. • Identifying and reviewing occupational hazards and carrying out risk assessments of the activities within the construction area. • Day-to-day implementation and monitoring of policy and plans. • Developing emergency plans and coordinating activities during any emergency. • Performing accident investigations and taking the correct action. • Coordinating and monitoring all health, safety and environment activities to ensure agreed safety and loss prevention standards are fully implemented and properly followed.• Acting as the contractor’s representative on HSE matters for coordinating and conducting weekly site inspections. • Preparation of the contractor’s specific HSE operating procedures to ensure contract obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities included:• Implementation of the company’s QHSE policy on site.• Auditing the workplace for hazards and developing the solutions to eliminate those hazards.• Communicate the solution to other employees and evaluate the progress as the solution is implemented• Monitoring the company HSE performance and analyzing the data.• Developing the site evacuation procedures• Preparation & review all HSE related documentation, including Method Statements, Work Permit procedures and safety equipments requisitions, to ensure complaiance with established standards• Develop & maintain ‘ZERO ACCIDENT’ program

Key Responsibilities included:• Co - ordinate with the Client's/ Consultant's Safety representative.• Hazard identification, Safety Inspection & suggesting remedial measures.• Preparing Environmental Impact Assessment and logistics plan for projects before commencement.• Preparing & Updating Site Traffic management plan on regular basis.• Designing various Safety Trainings, Inductions to new workers on site, Tool Box Talks, etc.• Conduct periodic inspection of Power tools, Lifting Accessories, Fire Devices, Scaffolds, Ladders & Maintaining proper records.• Conduct Fire Emergency Drill periodically & ensure that all Fire Watches perform their duties properly.• Carrying out regular (LPI) Loss Prevention Inspections.• Preparing (MIS) Management Information System reports on site safety (Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports).• To Investigate Accidents/ Near Misses/ Fire Accidents, etc & report to higher authorities.• To hold weekly Safety Meeting with section Engineers & Supervisory staff.

Key Responsibilities included:• Hazard identification, Safety Inspection & suggesting remedial measures• Conducting various Safety Trainings, Inductions to new workers on site, Tool Box Talks, etc.• Arranging Hot Work Permits & Confined Space Entry Permits.• Preparing (MIS) Management Information System reports on site safety • To Investigate Accidents/ Near Misses/ Fire Accidents, etc & report to higher authorities.• Render necessary advices to supervisors & Workers during site inspection
