I launched HEY's desktop apps across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

As part of the Experiences & Devices group, I worked on people and document management and discovery in O365. (Primarily in ES6, Typescript, and React)

I worked with organisations to make things people will love by thinking twice and coding once.Mostly in JS with React + Redux and Node. Clients include the MIT Media Lab and Clause.

As one of Typeform's first engineering managers and managing up to nine engineers, my responsibilities involved putting processes in place as the company quickly scaled, as well as ensuring our engineers were happy and growing in their careers. Also worked on improving our interviewing process and making it more equitable.

Implemented a rewrite and design refresh of the core Typeform product in React + Redux with a focus on creating beautiful, well-tested and cross-browser compatible user experiences.

Feature development and product maintenance for one of Atlassian's flagship products - full-stack, with mostly front-end work in HTML, CSS and JavaScript (using jQuery and MVC libraries like backbone). I also was later part of the growth and design research teams at Atlassian working on new onboarding experiences (yay conversion optimisation but also qualitative research).

Tutored SCIE1000: Theory and Practice in Science (teaching programming basics in Python to science students), as well as in the Engineering First Year Learning Center (as a tutor students could drop in and ask any homework related question to). Overall effectiveness as a tutor in teaching evaluations was 4.8/5.0 (Outstanding). I tutored in total three semesters of first year science and engineering students.

Interned in Video Object Detection division, implemented a visualisation package in Python and C++ that facilitated analysis of video data.

Here I researched, designed and implemented (in Java) a software application for producing digital certificates and certificate management. I wrote a requirements specification as well as design, technical and user documentation.

Under the supervision of a researcher with a speciality in neural networks with spike-timing dependent plasticity, implemented (in C++ and Python) added functionality to a neural circuit simulation package.
