• Handpicked by the Government of Punjab to spearhead the Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board (PLDDB); took the initiative to the point of handover, at which time it was completely self-sustaining. • Masterminded a strategic plan on behalf of the Government of Punjab to attract private sector businesses to corporate farming, generating additional revenues for the Govt. and acting as a center of excellence for farming practices.• Addressed supply chain issues experienced by the Govt. of Punjab impeding livestock and dairy farm performance, notably turning a loss-making (multi-million PKR per year) 7,000-acre farm to self-sustaining profit utilizing cutting edge technology and practices. • Established the Punjab Agriculture & Meat Company (PAMCO) for the Government of Punjab, resulting in improved meat supply and a significantly increased market share for Punjabi-produced HALAL meat internationally.

• Directed the Logistics Support Division (LSD), one of the largest divisions of UNPKO, an executive role with responsibility for US multi-millions worth of logistics support to all UN field offices globally. • Orchestrated hugely complex, global logistics support operations in support of UNPKO mission, incorporating c. 254 aircraft, 20,000 vehicles, 250 hospitals, hundreds of satellite control centers, and construction projects worth US$ billions. • Appointed member of the UNPKO Steering Committee leading mega change projects that generated US$ multi-million savings (first two years). • Set the strategy and vision for the Logistics Support Division of UNPKO, enabling successful delivery of vast volumes of fuel daily, 1750 tons of food weekly, and 312 MW electricity generation daily across the globe. • Directly responsible for a high-performing team of 180 international staff, with indirect oversight of 10,000 staff in the field, as Director of the Logistics Support Division for the UNPKO. • Collaborated with partner donor organizations (USAID, DFID, DANIDA) and UN agencies (FAO, WFP) on long-term development projects during tenure with UNPKO.• Influenced multi-faceted development and policy initiatives worldwide on behalf of UNPKO as a member of various high-level inter-government and intragovernmental committees and steering bodies.

• Enjoyed rapid progression at Descon Group in reflection of results delivered, from HR Manager at Presson Descon International Ltd to Director - NIMIR Resins Ltd and finally CEO & Director of Descon Oxychem Ltd. • Spearheaded conceptual design, construction, commissioning, and commercial production start-up of Descon Oxychem, an entire lifecycle, multi-billion PKR greenfield project delivered three months ahead of schedule. • Drove the success of Descon Oxychem Ltd, a publicly listed chemical manufacturing company worth +1bn PKR in the capacity of CEO.• Orchestrated successful IPO of Descon Oxychem Ltd, the first and only venture of the Descon Group to be publicly listed, with stock traded on the Karachi Stock Exchange.• Successfully implemented Oracle at Descon Oxychem and drove SAP deployment to all field/local offices and remote locations of UN field offices as part of the UN UMOJA project.• Strongly positioned the Descon Oxychem product in the international market and attained 100% product sales by devising a winning marketing and sale strategy. • Recruited a world-class exec management team with the capabilities to drive Descon Oxychem forward, resulting in a 100% plant production capacity 12 weeks early and a 25% increase in forecasted cash flow.• Represented the interests of Descon Oxychem Ltd at Karachi Stock Exchange and with banks, media, and government.• Enabled seamless project delivery at Presson Descon International by devising systems, including HR systems, that achieved value-driven, quality execution at pace with minimal costs.• Turned around the fortunes of struggling business, NIMIR Resins (a publicly listed company acquired by Descon Group in 2006), taking it to profit within less than two years.• Appointed Executive Leadership Team Member for the Rousch Power turnaround project (a poorly performing asset acquired by Descon Group in 2006); the critical driving force behind turnaround strategy and re-organization.

• Optimized the Paper & Board business performance of Packages Ltd, the most significant investment and business unit of the company, with a divisional multi-billion PKR annual t/o and annual production of c. 100,000 tons.• Refurbished the Dier Ezzor Paper Mill in Syria for Packages Ltd; led planning and execution of this very complex turnaround project, with successful delivery in an unprecedented nine months achieved primarily through efficient contracting and service management.• Transformed Packages Paper Mill turned into a self-sustaining venture with +300 regular customers, 1000 employees, and annual sales of +1bn PKR.• Led Packages Group’s Paper & Board business unit turnaround and product portfolio re-development leading to the highest profitability among all business units and record production increase of 29%, achieved within one year. • Reduced wastage at Packages Group by 40% by creating an operations excellence model that detailed best practices for critical processes while forming technology teams to implement the best practices.• Saved 23% in production costs ay Packages Group by automating production lines, upgrading manufacturing/supply chain teams, improving scheduling, and enhancing processes.
