As a researcher at Steel Research Center, I get to do cool experiments involving liquid steel. I use High-Temperature Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope to observe behavior of non-metallic inclusions in liquid steel and evolution of steel’s microstructure. I also have experience of using High-Temperature Tensile and Compression Testing machine equipped with Confocal Laser Microscope. My expertise include high temperature experimentation, high temperature confocal laser microscopy, thermodynamics of steel making, electrolytic extraction of non-metallic inclusions, and characterization of inclusions.I have passion for teaching and supervision. I have supervised undergraduate students for their projects and have taught undergraduate courses in past. Currently, I am involved in mentoring graduate students for their PhD studies and teaching undergraduate course. I am motivated on learn about sustainable manufacturing processes, basic computer programming and leadership development.In my free time, I love running in trails and playing badminton to stay physically active in daily life.
