After completing my Bcom Accounting Degree in 2015, I started my first job as a graduate at HBZ Bank Ltd in 2016. This involved dealing in all departments of the bank such as general banking, credit, account opening and foreign exchange. As I gained further experience within the company, my role became more centred around maintaining client relationships which highlights one of my strengths. I have also gained knowledge and experience in foreign exchange such as booking deals for import payments and foreign cash currency, negotiating and advising of export letters of credit and handling of client queries with regards to foreign exchange. I have recently obtained the RE 5 Regulatory Examination and hope to continue to learn and grow in the financial services industry.
