Ricardo Nabholz is a New York based design leader focused on delivering highly creative, sustainable,strategy-driven work that positively impacts his clients' lives and businesses. Ricardo's recent work includes environments for blue-chip financial firms, tech and media entrepreneurs, and boutique co-working start-ups. In his 18+ year career, he has also applied his talents to the hospitality, residential, retail, and academic sectors, winning industry wide recognition for his work. Paying it forward, Ricardo has taught studio courses at The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he received a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture in 2002. Ricardo has served on the board of the IIDA New York chapter, as a panelist for ICFF and the Pan Africa Interior Design Conference, and as a juror for the IIDA Interior Design Competition and Will Ching Design Competition. Beyond the office, Ricardo enjoys collaborating with artists who work in experimental media. Drawn to the intersection of design and art, and an admitted tinkerer, he has recently begun to investigate the aesthetic potential of neon. As an extension of—or perhaps stemming from—his diverse creative experiences, Ricardo is known to mix a good drink.
