Accomplished a four-month contract to recover a critical project to migrate the City of Markham’s servers to a new private cloud. The scope entailed moving 110 virtual machines as well as virtualizing and moving 30 physical servers. Worked with a team of over 60 members including most of the IT staff and key users from business units across the organization in addition to vendors.

Liaised regularly with stakeholders at all levels to manage project dependencies, resource requirements and issues/risks. Provided coaching and support to project managers.

IT Project Management | e-Business Operation | Business AnalysisManaged a number of IT and commercial projects. Managed the operations of the e-Business areaincluding the corporate portal, content portal, info channels, e-payment channels and other applications.

Project Management | Business Analysis | Solution ArchitectureServed as a liaison between business units (like Marketing, Sales and Customer Care) and IT. Involved in conducting business & system analyses to understand the business needs and to translate them into conceptual designs. Managed the in-house development of major systems.

Led teams of software engineers during different phases of the software development lifecycle. Worked with teams and clients in Boston and Amman to develop software solutions such as the Fixed Income Autex Network and Lightbridge’s Retail Management system.

Performed different tasks including collecting requirements, analyzing requirements, detailed design, different levels of testing, and coordinating user acceptance tests. Worked on banking and stock exchange software development projects in Jordan and Germany.
