working as Health and Safety manager for Abdali District Heating and Cooling Plant project at Amman-Jordan.- Ensure approved safety procedures are followed for Road Safety, Work at Height, Electrical Safety, Excavation Safety, Chemical Safety in Fabrication and civil activities, Behavior Based Safety, Scaffolding Safety, Steel Construction Safety, Fire Safety, Crane Safety etc.- Daily Inspection of interior and exterior work areas to determine if there are any safety hazards and take action if needed accordingly.- Periodic and random inspection of construction equipment and tools and report any findings.- Observe workers to ensure that they are wearing required personal protective equipment and implementation of bublished company safety policies.- Making sure employees opreat construction equipment and tools in a safe manner.- Issuing monthly report for site safety implementation with basic information of working hours, number of accidents, safety gear equipment statues and availability, area of concern, etc.- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure fire and safety equipments are available at site.- Prepare weekly / monthly report.- Coordinate HSE audits by the company

- Review and approve (where necessary) EPC contractor’s Health, Environment and Safety plans and policies related to the scope of work. Ensure compliance of the EPC contractor (and subcontractors) with the HES contractual obligations.- Ensure compliance with all company policies and Qatar specific requirements. Work to ensure that the Company Management of Change policy is maintained and that all work is carried out in accordance with departmental procedures.- Provide site support for the entire project life cycle, of construction, hook-up and commissioning of the new facilities, both in the offshore and onshore work environments.- Review works both offshore and onshore and provide in struction and guidance on HES issues in line with the project requirements.- Provide HES reports and assist in preparing management reports and attending project meetings. Ensure expedient resolution of non-conformance, and maintain documentation.- Participate in interface meetings with onshore and offshore construction. Participate meetings with construction and other groups.- Maintain a complete record of HES audits, reviews and correspondence to support changes to the design or other significant actions, documenting all significant deviations and related action plans. - Raise and discuss key and critical issues with the project HES Manager to develop solutions.- Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, as applicable.
