During my knowledge-rich tenure at Elbe-Gate Logistics, I collaborated closely with the management team and took on various roles to drive the company’s mission. My key responsibilities included:• Digital Transformation: Led initiatives to digitalize operations, enhancing efficiency and performance across various tasks.• Market Expansion: Strategically expanded the company’s presence to address customer needs in diverse markets.• Multi-Functional Role: Adapted to various roles and responsibilities, ensuring the successful execution of projects and alignment with company goals.As a Citizen Developer:I developed and maintained a Transportation Management System tailored for a mid sized Freight Forwarders using Java and a low-code technology, resulting in over 50% of efficiency gains and an increased capacity / resource and significant cost savings, equal to the cost cut of ~ €25,000 / Annum for a similar outsourced TMS service. To ensure delivering a highly usable, robust and problem solving product, I consistently observed and collaborated cross-functionally with colleagues from Management, Custom Clearance, Booking, Accounting, Quotation, and Customer Support, to elicit all focal requirements for the TMS.As a Business Developer:I helped Elbe-Gate establish strategic overseas collaborations and partnerships with freight forwarders in key global markets across the Middle East, Central & South Europe, and Asia, including China, Singapore, Lebanon, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Libya, UK, Spain, and France. This initiative drove substantial client exchanges and fostered a unified global network, fueling synergy and market expansion for the company.
