CurrentAkon-Donluis provides freight forwarding, shipping and logistics services to oil and gas exploration, production and services companies in Equatorial Guinea (www.akon-donluis.com)• Overall responsibility for profit and loss, contracts, large customer relationships, reporting and organization of the company.• Responsible for return to profitability within first year -- though acquisition of new accounts, expansion of business into new fields, cost reduction and improved internal processes.• Ongoing project manager for ERP systems, including building internal operations control database and current migration of all finance and operations information to SAP including responsibility of selection, planning, design, and implementation.• Developed operating procedures and processes designed to facilitate growth, eliminate unnecessary work, include compliance controls, and clearly communicate with customers.• Vastly improved management-employee relations, increasing employee buy-in and commitment – which has translated directly into increased worker productivity and customer satisfaction. • Managed transition of freight forwarding business through change in ownership from major global freight forwarder to locally (EG) owned Akon Logistics Management Ltd. • Oversaw successful merger of Donluis TDL and Akon Logistics Management Ltd. – into a single legal entity: Akon-Donluis S.L. Responsible for legal aspects of merger as well as managing customer perception and expectations.
