CurrentParticipate in the production of the software design, the development activities and in the implementation of unit and system testing in ETFMS (Enhanced Tactical Flow Management System), which is used to compare traffic demand with the available capacity of a certain air traffic control (ATC) sector.It is a key enabler of the air traffic flow and capacity management (ATFCM) services during tactical operations (on the day of the flight) and pre-tactical operations (from 1 to 6 days before the flight is airborne) in Europe.ETFMS is the evolution of the old TACT system started in 1996. After more than 20 years the project is still growing with millions of lines of code.The different skills and tasks involved in this position are the following ones:- Specification of software requirements for new functionalities in ETFMS.- Skilled in incident resolution and priority assignment due to the high volume of tasks that are involved in this position.- Designated 24/7 on-call level 3 in case it is required by operational teams.- Specialized in the environment data required by the system (map, fixed points, airspace restrictions, regulations...), what requires deep understanding of memory management, databases and code efficiency.- High proficiency in Linux and scripting (ksh, perl...) are some skills required for the project.- Deep specialization in Ada in order to properly designed a system capable of efficiently handling more than 30.000 flights per day.
