About Senthil Nachimuthu

I spent the last 15 years of my career building healthcare interoperability, data normalization, healthcare analytics and machine learning products in large corp (3M Healthcare) and startup (Nightingale Open Science, Truveta) organizations. Now, it's time to use emerging technology towards my goal of improving the lives of patients and clinicians while reducing the risks through judicious application of artificial intelligence. As of Oct 2024, I'm returning to my alma mater University of Utah School of Medicine as a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Epidemiology, Department of Internal Medicine. The next chapter of my research will be focused on multimodal AI to create, validate, and implement parsimonious methods to improve healthcare. Interpretability, explainability, reduction of bias, and patient safety will be foundational to this work to make it trustworthy for clinicians and patients.I'll continue to advise Nightingale Open Science and other non-profit/for-profit organizations that have been kind enough to seek my expertise to improve healthcare. Together let's do our part to make healthcare better for both clinicians and patients.
