Hello and welcome! My name is Nada Abdelmalek, and I'm a Software Engineer who found her true passion in Virtual Reality (VR) and Serious Game Development. My journey into the tech world began with the pursuit of an Industrial Software Engineering Degree from the National School of Electronics and Telecommunications of Sfax. As an undergraduate student, I embarked on a mission to find a career that truly sparked my enthusiasm. This pursuit led me through various internships in different fields, where I acquired a wide range of skills. As a Full Stack Developer at ITGate Group, I developed an e-commerce website using Angular, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, showcasing my web development prowess. In addition to these experiences, my academic journey included an exciting IoT project where I developed a mobile application to monitor heart rate and oxygen saturation in blood, measured by an oximeter, via Wi-Fi. I utilized tools like Arduino UNO, ESP8266, MAX30100, Firebase, and MIT App Inventor to create this innovative solution.However, it wasn't until I came across the concept of virtual reality that I realized I had found my true calling. During my time as a Virtual Reality Developer at Tadreex, I had the privilege of creating immersive VR training models for workplace security in industrial environments. I brought these simulations to life using my knowledge of Unity and C#, providing users with enjoyable and engaging learning experiences. I also developed my 3D modeling skills using Blender to craft realistic environments. In addition to that, working with VR SDKs and APIs from Oculus allowed me to explore VR's full potential.Even though my present knowledge extends outside VR game development, my enthusiasm for virtual reality remains unwavering. I'm dedicated to improving my VR expertise and contributing to the advancement of this impressive field. I'm motivated to take on new challenges and collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of VR technology.
