Nada is a dedicated anti-money laundering specialist with a background in criminology, justice, and regulation research. Her work experience largely involves enhancements or remediations of entities’ AML frameworks to achieve a financial sector that is better protected from criminal compromise. Highlighting Nada’s experience and contributions to her field:- Completion of published and commissioned studies examining: Risk assessment tools in the Australian justice system, Successful Applications of Situational Crime Prevention, and International AML Risks and Compliance. - Doctoral research on a novel Australian crime dataset to examine ML perpetration and prevention. - Investigation and uplift of workforce challenges, including employee engagement and integrity culture. - Work with banks to remediate AML framework challenges, including targeted uplift of Transaction Monitoring Programs to improve risk coverage.
