Provided advice on appropriate and safe risk-assessment measures, as well as practical advice on controlling for risks of slips, trips and falls and reviewing the risk controls.Hazardous Substances ProcedureDelivered a Hazardous Substances procedure to assist the Port Phillip Housing Association (PPHA) to control for risks related to managing hazardous substances in the office environment and outside the office environment when staff attend to PPHA properties. The procedure involved outlining process steps on identifying hazardous substances and safe use and handling procedures to eliminate any risks associated with use and handling of substances like adhesives, solvents, heavy metals and asbestos to name a few.Reviewed the OH&S Act and Regulations, as well as relevant Victorian Compliance Codes and Material Safety Data Sheets.
