As a Pharmacy student at Dalhousie University, my journey in the field began with a passion for science and research. My academic foundation was built during my time as a Biochemistry student at the University of New Brunswick, where I received multiple awards, including the Dean’s List, the McCue Scholarship, and the Edwin Jacob Special University Scholarship.My interest in pharmaceuticals was further fueled by my work as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart, where I witnessed the significant impact medications have on patients’ lives. This experience ignited my desire to contribute to the development of new and improved therapies.Beyond academics, I have developed valuable skills through diverse experiences. As a STEM Tutor at Dr Nada Academy, I communicate scientific concepts to elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them understand math and chemistry. I am now eager to leverage my knowledge in a research role within the pharmaceutical industry, where I aspire to learn from experts and contribute to the development of life-changing medications.
