Joined Hum News TV as Director News in Aug 2018 and successfully launched a new channel with a different approach, mindset, and screen. Owing to my leadership, this news channel was considered one of the most decent and professional news organizations in Pakistan. Hum News created its own identity in a very short period. I introduced the first news channel in Pakistan which omits the concept of breaking news. It was difficult to make viewers stay on TV with a flat-screen, without breaking but we did it successfully. I brought the concept of solution-oriented news and social issues that relate to the common man.

Successfully relaunched and converted 24 News from the current affair channel to the news channel. Under my leadership, 24 News ranked high in the list of top-rated channels in a short span of time.

Joined BOL TV with a vision to make positive changes in the Pakistani media industry. I was focused on bringing the concept of development journalism. BOL TV raised the slogan of positivity and brought the real issues on the screen which belonged to the common masses. I worked in BOL TV with the aim to apply all my skills and experience to bring innovation. I played a key role in the structural development of the channel.

Worked in Express News as Director News. Played a vital role in the formation of policies and drawing lines to ensure the quality of news. I covered the general election.

Joined Dunya TV as Director News and brought organizational and structural reforms to the channel. These reforms gave it a long-term boost.

2010 was the best and most happening year of my career as I got an offer for SAMAA TV as Controller News. In SAMAA TV, I applied all my skills, knowledge, and experience in Print and Broadcast journalism. It was the result of hard work that we even topped Geo News in ratings. Subsequently, I was appointed as Head of News in SAMAA TV. During that era, it was understood in the media industry that the number one position was given to only two leading channels, but I was the man behind the team who changed this tradition. I took SAMAA TV to new heights of ratings and brought recognition to this channel among mainstream channels.
